The TPF Changemaker Scholarship in Honor of Turkish Medical Doctors is a collective fund, where donors come together to honor the contributions of doctors in their communities while opening doors for students who aspire to follow in their footsteps.
With an annual gift of $1,000 or more, you can honor a doctor’s name in this collective tribute—whether a beloved family member, mentor, or a physician whose care meant something to you. All contributions are combined, allowing us to award meaningful scholarships in the name of all participating doctors together, expanding both reach and impact.
Each doctor honored will be recognized on the Medical Changemakers Honor Roll on TPF’s website and in the Annual Report, with the inscription: “Honored by the family and friends of Dr. [Name].” This shared recognition reflects the collective strength of the fund: many families, many stories, one united legacy.

You Can Have a Scholarship Fund
in Your Name
With a gift of $15,000, families can establish a named scholarship under the Changemaker Scholarship Fund, honoring a specific doctor ensuring their legacy continues through the education of deserving students.
A dedicated feature will highlight each named scholarship on TPF’s website and annual report with: The doctor’s photo (if family wishes), a short bio or tribute (3–5 sentences).
Every student who receives a named scholarship will be notified explicitly that the award is granted “in honor of Dr. [Name],” with a tribute, provided by the family, included in their award letter, ensuring the recipient learns about the doctor’s life and legacy. This recognition emphasizes individual legacy and personal story.
